sBitx need legacy software a bit longer

I should be getting my new sBitx V2 delivered later this week but I'm still working on my sBitx DE. I have downloaded the sbitx.img and backed it up--I believe it's the original v1.0. Is that correct?
?What? I was using most productively (with the DE)? was v1.1 which I had not yet archived, figuring I could always get it to 1.1 by downloading 1.0 and doing a git pull.? Doing a git pull brings it to V2.0 which seems to have compatibility issues with the DE. I may work that out but is there a way to get V1.1? I'm having audio problems and it's difficult to tell whether it's a hardware or a software issue when the software changes.?
I'm also afraid the 1.0 will soon disappear. Some of us may still need it later. Again, I have the 1.0 image and it's archived, but after going through the install.txt instructions the waterfall comes up but there's no audio or noise. The audio on the Pong game works.
How can I get back to an image of v1.1?

John, you bring up a good point.? If Farhan could create a tag from the last commit? before starting on 2.0, we will be able to checkout?that version.? It would be best practice to tag releases going forward.? There should minimally be tags for 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0 at this point.

Lou,
For now, the old gui lives. But much functionality at a higher level (for instance, automatic dxcc scripting for rtty) will move to javascript. It is just much simpler and safer to write it there.
I will keep the old ui tagged. In place of the old gui, a command line ui will come in that will be much faster as easier, esp for the visually challenged.

Faran - totally agree, it is just a good practice to tag releases so if there is a problem, a user can roll back to a previous release and test or continue using the rig and pull the newer tag when they are ready to test / debug the problem.? Always good to have a rollback plan.

Ok, I now have my DE running with a git pull and both the original gui, also the we based gui which I¡¯m learnining. Everything works including voice modulation and two-tone, but there¡¯s no carrier output on CW. The key works¡ªthe yellow line jumps and drops down after the delay but there¡¯s no widening of the yellow line and no side tone. Receive is perfect. Suggestions?
my v2 should arrive tomorrow, BTW.
