Power Supply Voltage

I have an adjustable power supply,? I have it set at 13.8 volts, What is recommended? I got it on Saturday Upgraded to 4.3 64 bit on Sunday on Monday I kinda modded the mic and get pretty good audio reports es have made about 75 contacts with it, about 25 FT8 es 50 SSB all while setting in front of my FT-DX101MP. What GREAT fun ??

Doug,
?
im not positive but I believe for the Sbitx v2 and v3 they recommend 12.5 volts input, but I’m not positive. I hope I’m correct, I hope this helps.

The sBitx website has a document that describes how HFSignals calibrates/tests the sBitx radios before shipment. The very first line reads:
?
"The power supply should be on 13.8"
?
I assume that you should also operate the radio at that voltage as well, but that's an assumption.

The v2 uses IRFZ24N FETs in the output stage, so it is more sensitive to higher voltage.
I have the v2 working and I have been using 12.5V from the beginning.
I also limit the current consumption, initially 6.0 A to 6.5 A at the moment.
So, I'm a cautious person and I try to experience the correct use.
I have been using it for 16 months and the FETs I have installed are working after more than 8 thousand connections.

In the case of the v3, you can safely use 13.8V, where the output stage FETs are IRF510 type.
In this case, I would limit the current consumption in the same way as in the v2.
What is the correct value, you have to set it with experience.
