Moving the Pi

I'm evaluating a case for my sBitx v3, and I got the (probably bad) idea of using an aluminum enclosure for the motherboard while moving the Raspberry and display outside that box, in a 3D printed enclosure to be fixed to the aluminum box. Do you think that a 20cm extension of the GPIO port would work or may it be a source of noise and disaster? Waiting for your thoughts! ? 73 de IU5RDU - Lorenzo ?
Charles Guerin All Messages By This Member #115442 That’s a good question, I’m interested in that idea too if extending gpio for a different reason - fitting a PI 5 externally where I can heat sink it.?
