LATEST .UF2 FILE

 

Couldn't download zbitx_front_panel_sw.ino.uf2 from HFSIGNALS page.

Downloaded code from zBitx page.- zbitx_front_panel_sw.ino.uf2 dated 3/30 9:15 AM.
?
Xfer to zBitx - no response (stays on gray screen)
?
Xfer v1.04 and zBitx reboots to 1.04.........

Uploaded fine ... but shows up as v1.04
 

Yep, I will flip the version if the early tests find it okay

I ran into this issue as well. See issue #2.
I also am still having a difficulty getting FT8 to use the decode selected by clicking the encoder. Something?is definitely better because it is no longer locking the radio process on my zBitX when the encoder is used to select a decode, instead, it does absolutely nothing at all.

See new issue #1 on Github.

We're homing in on it, it's very close to working right! (At least on my radio. Of course, Finagle's First Law, "The perversity of the Universe tends to the maximum.", means that it's somehow possible for it to be working JUST FINE on someone else's radio, but MINE wants to be SPECIAL and isn't working.)

./update gives 3.021, not 3.05
 

I got updated to 1.05 / 3.05.
?
Everything I have tested look s good!

If the sbitx version doesnt show 3.05 after update, you maybe on the wrong branch. So, before you run ./update, type:
git checkout main
To switch to main branch of code, then run
./update

Quality time understanding “git checkout”.
All is well:
Encoder selection with FT8 works
Time synchronizing on startup.
Log file shows on the radio screen
?
Thanks, now trying to figure out managing heat.
 

The "git checkout main" fixed my problem as well. All is working properly now.

I'm going to add a comment to the issue and close it, since it's working now.
