HFSigs Bitx40: power requirement question

If the PA is powered separately, how many amps at 12 volts is needed to power the rest of the rig? Would a 1 amp 12volt supply suffice?

Thanks

Mine runs about 160-170ma in receive and about 380ma in Transmit with no modulation, so yes a 1 amp PS would be fine for just the board without the the PA.

Hi Farhan,
Jerry is talking about powering the PA separately from the main board, so 1 amp would be fine in that situation.
