European Bitx Net - Tonight (1 May) 1900UTC 7175 kHz
EUROPEAN BITX NET - TONIGHT (1 MAY) 1900UTC 7175 KHZ? I would like to suggest we try to start a European Bitx?Net each Monday night starting 1900UTC. I suggest we congregate on 7175 kHz for check-ins and signal reports (if 7175 is in use please move upwards in frequency until you find us). It would be great if we could encourage some Bitx to Bitx?QSOs although of course everyone is welcome to join the net irrespective of transceiver or location. Anyone interested in joining us?? de Carl, M0ICR |
Good idea! I?ll be there at 1900 UTC (2100 Central European Time). The only problem might be that we have interference from a strong image from Radio Romania or Voice of China. I seem to remember that this was around 7175 at 1900UTC (not quite sure). Ah well, let's try, we can alway move to another frequency if necessary. 73, Allard PE1NWL |

I also copied you for short time, Luc (tried to call you). Carl, M0ICR was about 55 to me but with deep QSB (tnx QSO Carl). A surprise was UA9CAW with good signal (54 received). Boris was using a beverage, hi. As Allard mentioned, there is a strong broadcast image around this frequency.? 73! Hopefully I'll have more luck next time. Good to hear that v1.09 works well for you. 73, Allard PE1NWL On Mon, May 1, 2017 22:22, ON2AAV wrote:

... Well that was a great first start. Hopefully, we can encourage a few more to try and join us next time Monday night. I think we might need to try and find a better frequency - as Allard noted we had a strong Broadcast station to contend with and a great deal of co-channel QRM. Delighted to work two x 2-Way Bitx QSO with Pascal F6EHP and Adi YO2LIW (thank you both). ?Allard, Mike and Luke sorry didn't hear you at all. Looking forward to next Monday. 73 Carl M0ICR London |
