Folks I am dragging my feet on some major upgrades, including an isolated audio and PTT interface, the BITX40 digital and software upgrade, and a big magnetic loop made for 40 meters. I am half way through the interface, and was wondering about the line in connection on the BITX side, any tips or links? Do I just tap into the mic input or what?
Finally, this is to say I hope in about two weeks this QSO night is still going when I get the mag loop finished. I hope to hear less noise, and more signal here in my city surroundings. As of now the signals are just barely above the noise floor that I can tell you are there, but I can't make out what you are saying. I will be working in the shop tonight listening for a strong signal. Anyone else using a mag loop for QSO night? And hows it working for ya????? de KG5KYJ. |

I got nothing. I might need to ditch the spiral loop and toss up a dipole. On Sun, Jul 2, 2017 at 7:19 PM David Woodward <kf4wbj2@...> wrote:
