Alternative To BB204 Varicap In IK3OIL FLL?

Just building the IK3OIL frequency counter/vfo fll, struggling in the u.k. to find BB204 double varicap, can anyone suggest an alternative?
Many Thanks

There are several listed on eBay for worldwide delivery. Here's one:

Here's another source that offers worldwide shipping.

Also, here's the datasheet for the BB204 series. It will show key
characteristics you can compare with other devices. Key characteristics
include the voltage ratio and the voltage-to-capacitance curve. You know,
now that I think of it, two single varactors (closely matched with the
right characteristics) ought to work cathode to cathode.

There's no doubt lots of other sources can be found a'Googlin'. These are
just a few.

Dan's Small Parts has BB104 on sale at 20/$US8.00.

Alas, it is only for U.S. customers.

The BB104, if you can find it, is a good substitute. It is what I used in my IK3OIL fll controller. Also two of the MV1xx varicaps back-to-back will work, as suggested elsewhere.

The BB204 dual varicap is a 30 volt device. Capacitance is 14 pf with a
2.6 voltage to capacitance ratio.

The BB204B has slightly higher capacitance, 47 pf versus 39 pf, than the
BB204G.

These devices were designed for electronic tuning of FM radio
receivers. That may
give you some idea where to look for surplus and salvage units.

The 30volt device may also be found in the old cable boxes, most of
those I tore up were 30 volt tuning. Also most were positive ground
power supplies.
