Best Method to make a new Sbitx V2 Image?

 

I have a sbitx v2? software ver 2.
During my experimenting i have mucked up the sbitx icon - it no longer executes with one click, it now prompts me if i wish to execute.
I had used the sd copier program to make a backup.
When i tried using it had a failed to boot.
I reinstalled my original sd card and I did an ./update? and it was successful - it compiled and said ver 2 --- however nothing change.


Where and what is the process the build a new image form scratch?

My suggestion would be to download the V2 image, burn a new microSD card, and do an update. ?The single click and I one permissions are in the install.text file in the snitch folder. ?There are some other things that might be corrupted that would be corrected with a new image.?

Thanks.

You read my mind.

I just finished?downloading v2 image and am now burning to a new 32 gig micro sd card.
Once its?done I will insert the new sd
do a reboot then? do a cd to the sbitx dir and do a ./update - that should do it?

The single click and I one permissions are in the install.text file in the snitch folder. ?? not sure what this means

All instructions for modifying the config.txt file are in the install.txt file included in the sbitx git download.

Just installed new sd card and ver is on old one as it displays a schematic of sbitx as background image not the tube background.
so--- do you have a source for a sbitx v2 ver 2? Obviously I do not.

it? also wont let me do an update from the terminal.

I am running in circles........

I find it hard to believe?I cannot get a current card image.

The sbitx sd card image is available to download from:


1. Download by clicking it on the above link.
2. The image is zipped up to save download time, unzip it with your compression utility (on most operating systems, just trying to open it will automatically offer to unzip the file).
3. Follow the instructions to burn it to your sd card from:

I think you need to do an update Joe thru the console, but see my last post and you¡¯ll understand this reply better.
