Debugging FT8 decoding #sbitx_v2

Hi, I am trying to see why FT8 decoding doesn't seem to be working on my v2 sBitx. Time seems to be synchronized. I can also see several fldigi -i processes running (please see the screenshot of a portion of the Linux desktop). This is a #191 board running the official (un-updated) SD card.

It will be great to get any hints on debugging this.

Hi Salim!

Sometimes a hard reboot solves the problem.

Salim,
just a suggestion for FT8 settings.
The AGC must be switched off so that the received signal is not amplified, then your answer is correct.
It can also be seen in the waterfall that you are overamplifying the incoming signal.
The rf gain must be taken back so that the background in the waterfall is blue or dark blue... it can be black in some places.
Feel free to restart if you feel something is wrong, but it was fine before.

Gyula, Thanks. Yes you are correct. The RX gain was too high in the screenshots.

Gyula & Salim,

Just check my test piece which was at 90% gain and decoding. Even at 100% if worked fine.

So Salim must have a high gain antenna to over load.
