#sbitx_v2 60meter TX ? #sbitx_v2

Looks like the radio can transmit on 5Mhz.
Can we? Or it is not recommended?

Thanks

Being software defined, it can transmit anywhere upto 30 MHz with single line changes in the hw_settings.ini.
However, the LPFs will not have sufficient attenuation of harmonics. I would recommend an external LPF with 6MHz cut off to stay legit and legal.

hello Ashhar,

I entered the follow lins but I did not see any change in the radio menu.
[tx_band]

Nir,
Try changing the values of an existing band, ex:the 80m band.

Hi Ashhar,

Did that, But no changing. Selecting in 80m make the radio go to 3.5Mhz as was in the default...

You can spin the dial up to 5500 after that.

Yes I can
I is strait foreword In any selected band...

If I select 10m or 20m or any, I can spin the dial General coverage....

Most important is that the transmit frequency for a channel is accurate with minimal drift.
