#sbitx Upgrades shipped #sBitx

 

The upgrades were shipped last Friday, I am told.

Is there any utility in adding an L-C noise filter, or would that be overkill?
 

I asked this question a few days ago but that post seems to have vanished from the earlier thread on this topic, without a response.
Has the upgrade kit been sent to purchasers outside the USA, Ashar?
If not, I don't know how many sBITX have been purchased in Australia but I am happy to act as a forwarding point for distributing the upgrade kit to Australian owners, if that is of assistance.

The kit has been despatched to everyone who has bought sbitx (either models) with LM338, across the countries.

Thanks Ashhar. Perhaps I should have thought of volunteering to distribute for Australian purchasers earlier but hopefully the postage costs for HF Sigs weren't too high. .?

Same here..got it on Wednesday.

Note that there is no tracking, and in my case, it didn't even show up in my USPS daily delivery email. Usually that only happens for magazines and on-off mailings.

What type of mic is needed for the sBitx?? Does it need to be a electret capsule type or can a dynamic type be used?
