#microphone Shure 550L wiring

DR GIRISH KJ VU2VTG #90405 Dear friends, I bought used Shure dynamic microphone (model 550L) from my friend. I went through help page - . But I couldn't go ahead. First of all this is a dynamic microphone so it’s audio output will be too low to drive the BITX it will need a simple preamplifier which has been described on here before. I’m not sure what your mic connector is except I’ll address general hookup. Cable wiring is Red and Black are PTT, your audio out will be the Green. Then you will need to connect the Shield and White wire together plus either the Red or Black wire.
