Bitx40 main board

I have a Bitx40 v 3 main board? #67 that I acquired from another ham. I thought the radio was complete until I received it and found out I needed the daughter board, the display and the mounting hardware for them. Can anyone supply me with these items so I can complete the radio??

Here is the URL for the BITX-40.? You are correct that you need the
whole kit, including main PCB, and the Raduino PCB.? Several people
have built versions of the Raduino PCB, but mostly for uBITX? instead
of the BITX-40.

Wiring up the BITX40

Before starting¡
  • The brown wire from Raduino goes to the black wire from the BITX DDS
  • The red wire from Raduino goes to the brown wire from the BITX DDS
  • The BNC antenna connector must be not more than 2 inches way from the antenna connector on the board
  • The box should have enough head room to allow the heatsink. The heatsink is not at ground potential. It should¡¯nt touch any metal
  • Use a well regulated 12 volts, 2 amps linear power supply for best performance
  • Keep all the leads short
Below is the connection diagram. This diagram is all you need to know to hook you your BITX40.

Others may have a surplus Raduino board, or may know where you can get one.

Thanks for the response. I already contacted the guy that makes these radios in India and he replied that he has no parts for the old boards, so guess I will have to buy a complete kit or pound sand - lol.

I recently ordered a BITX40 Raduino from hfsignals and have built up two radios, they are pretty neat.? You can order the Raduino here:

After ordering send hfsignals an e-mail with the order number and specify it is for a BITX40.? You can get the display off Amazon for a couple bucks and then some misc. loose parts and you are good to go.

You don't need the Raduino. You can use the QRP Labs VFO kit:

I used one of these for a long time with mine, really liked it :)?

Also, it sounds like you got a very early one with the analog VFO. If you are going to use a DDS (highly recommended!) then just remove the L4 inductor which is the yellow toroid right in the middle of the board next to the DDS connector.
