This will require most probably in-depth code changes, as the "pdq_gfx_libs" used in the fast versions of the uBitx does not support this controller.? You would have 1.? ?to find a similarly fast library for the Arduino supporting ILI9488 2. change the UI code, to adapt to the higher resolution.? 3. from another project with an ESP32 I also learned, that the ILI9488 is much slower than the ILI9341.? I could find ILI9341 displays up to 3.2", which would not require any code changes. The 0.3" will not justify this effort.? 73, Joerg |
BTW: Try the N8ME_2 software from the files section with the ILI9341 display and you will see, that there will be no need any longer to increase display speed through a Nextion display.?
I have been greatly impressed by the improvements vs.? the OOTB software. It makes the uBitx a completely different transceiver.? Many thanks to N8ME!! |
Hello,
Do try N8ME's firmware with vu3gao mods. File has been uploaded at : /g/BITX20/files/uBITX_6_N8ME_2_VU3GAO_Mods.zip 73s, Nitin William |
