Bitx40 Raduino convert to uBitx Raduino

Hi All

I have a spare Bitx40 Raduino in the junk box here as I am using a QRP-Labs VFO in the Bitx40 that I want to make into a spare uBitx Raduino for reprogramming/hacking.

I've looked at both Raduinos and don't see any differences in the two boards aside from the #1 pin on P3 being lifted from ground.

The only thing left is to put a 16 pin right angle male header on P3.

Am I missing anything here?

Thanks for your input.

Should just need that header and a loadup of the uBitx20 software.? I have a standalone Raduino, a Bitx40v3 and a uBitx and the only difference I can see is the header and the software.

The raduino is the same across all radios. Only the firmware is different

Ashar, I have done this, and LSB is USB to 10mhz, Then changes to LSB above 10mhz. Amazingly ! .?

Yet, when I put Ian's 1.01 in it, lsb was lsb, usb was usb. Somehing wasn't perfect from the frequency perspective , possibly the BFO was off. Of course, the software lets you adjust the BFO while operating but I haven't tried that. Still not sure why your original software switched usb with lsb, but soon will figure this out I hope because I would like to be able to switch softwares at will. ?
