Allards scan function. #bitx40help

I recently had to replace the nano due to messing up the USB port. When I installed Allards lastest code the scan function no longer works. I programmed it to start at 7100 and end at 7300. It tunes to 7100 and doesn't move. I reverted back to 1.20 and the scan function works fine.

Thank You,
Joshua

Yoshua, "latest code"- do you mean v1.27.3? or v2.02?
(I quickly tried it with v2.02 and it still works fine on my BitX40)
What scan step and scan delay values did you set?
Does the VFO A/B scanning work OK?

yes the 1.27.3 sketch. I have step set to 500 and delay at 1000. The VFO A/B monitoring doesn't function either. I also tried the v1.27.4 sketch tonight and it does the same thing, though v1.20 still functions fine.

Yoshua,
I compared the v1.20 code against the latest version - the only difference
is that since v1.20 we implemented the SPOT button and the capacitive
touch sensors.

Normally scanning will be stopped when the SPOT button is pressed or when
the CW key goes down (either the normal mechanical key or the capacitive
touch sensor).

Perhaps your issue has something to do with this?
Do you have the touch sensor mod installed and does it work correctly?
Is the SPOT/Fine tune button working as it should?
