Status of Orders

 

Does anyone know if there's a site to find the status of an order? I placed an order for a uBITX last week. and, aside from the immediate confirmation that the e-commerce site got my order and charged my card, there has been no feedback from HF Signals about confirmation and when the order will ship. Given the popularity this unit is likely to gain, I think regular updates about order status is important.

Hi Joe,

I don’t usually post much on here but I remember seeing a notice on the main page at hfsigs saying that nothing would ship until after Christmas. ?When you order it also says that they are on Preorder. ?I don’t see the announcement about shipping on their website now so maybe they are getting ready to ship the next batch out.

When I ordered my 40 I received no confirmation other than the PayPal processing like you. The radio arrived three weeks later. I was uncharacteristically silently patient because of all the nice things people say about Ashar.? That worked for me.

I ordered mine 8:30 AM EST on the 11th. I asked HFSIGNALS if I would
make the first round on the 15th, and was asked to "be patient, and
wait 3-4 days", and they would advise. I waited 5 days, and asked for
an update, and was told it will ship in "2-3 days"..... Hope this
helps some of you with a timeline.

If you paid by paypal you will usually get a notification when it is shipped and a tracking number.

Farhan was on the W5KUB videocast Tuesday night (you can watch it on YouTube) and showed a whole pile of plastic boxes waiting for boards and parts. ?So it may be a while before he has a supply of finished kits ready to go. ?Mine came today. ?Ordered on the 10th.

The nice fellow in the DHL truck was just here in Springfield, IL. My Paypal account says I also ordered on December 10th.

12 Days to my door from the other side of the world. Not too shabby!

Hi Joe,
Same situation here..Placed order, got reply from PayPal, but no acknowlegement from HFSigs..There doesnt seem to be any link or address to email them to find out the status either..So keeping my fingers crossed for now..I would expect some DHL tracking link sometime during the process. I see some guys are getting their radios. And if worse comes to worse I just file a claim with paypal and they'll get the money back..But I would rather have the radio.

Mine ordered on the 9th was shipped on the 15th and arrived on the 18th
one day earlier that predicted.
I'm the one who came home from work and found my uBitX wrapped
and under the Christmas tree. I'm told by wifey that it will stay there until
I get moved over to the nice list!

Joe,

Mine I ordered on the 10th and it Shipped on the 20th, I just received today the 22nd.?

When it ships you will get a notice from PayPal - be patient.

Then you’ll have a tracking number if you specified DHL.

I’m sure they are busy getting kits sent off - a monumental task - and watching the forum here you’ll get an idea when they will arrive from others that ordered on the same day.?

Others who ordered on the same day as I on the 10th have been receiving them over the last few days.

I received mine today. Here was the sequence of events as they unfolded....

1. Recd notice I had ordered with Paypal.
2. Got update from Paypal when they shipped and added the tracking info.
3. DHL driver knocked on the door.
