Last week I set up a Discord channel for bitx discussion after some discussion in an unrelated thread. Only two people have since joined, so I thought I'd create a separate thread to raise visibility.
Discord is an in-browser chat program similar to IRC, but modernized with persistent messages, history, search, a nice UI, and mobile apps. It is very comparable to Slack. Discord also has a voice chat feature which is comparable to TeamSpeak (in fact, Discord has largely supplanted TeamSpeak in many gaming communities). If anyone is interested in joining, use this link?. The name of the channel is simply "bitx". If nothing else, I think this would be very useful for the coordination of the weekly QSO night. 73s David KM4NKU |

Thought I would mention, this chat is still going and has some momentum. 30 people total have logged in at least once, with about 3 or 4 regulars (including myself). As N8DAH?mentioned in another thread, he and I figured out how to get him up and running on FT8. He's helping me figure out some problems on my end as well.
