ubitx v3 cw problem

Ron-NE0X story #74607 how much news can the fake news fake, while the fake news fakes, fake news? i have a v3 i took on trade, wont work on cw, has a small board added that has something to do with cw, has a push button switch on it. im trying to find out what it is and maybe determine if i am doing something incorrectly or should just remove the board? ron ne0x
