Volume Control Pot

Ben Piecora All Messages By This Member #34396 Hello Everybody, just wondering is the 10K pot that has the switch on it a regular, 10K pot or is it special because it says "A10K" on it and all the pots I have in the parts bin say "B10K" would that work or no? I was thinking of putting a different pot with a different shaft on it and having a seperate power switch. -- Ben KD2NOU

DuWayne Schmidlkofer All Messages By This Member #34425 If you have a linear taper pot, you can approximate a audio taper by adding a resistor from ground to the wiper.? A value about 20% of the resistance of the pot comes very close. -- DuWayne? KV4QB
