Raduino v1.21 with automatic CW keyer function released

I've just released Raduino v1.21, download it from
New in this release:
  • Added automatic CW keyer functionality.
The default setup is still for straight key operation. If you want to use the automatic keyer, connect a paddle keyer to pin A1 (dit) and pin D3 (dah). In the SETTINGS menu, set CW-key type to "paddle".
While keying, the keyer speed can be adjusted by pressing the Function Button (speed up) or the SPOT button (speed down). Keyer speed can be set from 1 - 50 WPM.
  • It is now possible to set the minimum and maximum tuning frequency via the SETTINGS menu (no longer need to edit the sketch).
  • Improved the tuning pot behaviour at the lower and upper ends of the pot.
Be sure to read the updated operating instructions at

Allard :?

Can you provide some more details about the Cw Keyer Functionality ??

Does it implement Iambic A, ?Iambic B ?or both??

Can I also suggest a future enhancement to allow for swapping the sense of the paddles for those of us who are lefties ? ?
i.e. Instead of the selection "paddle" maybe "paddle Normal" and "paddle Reverse".?

Thanks again for all of the great work you have done on the Raduino code, it just keeps getting better !

Cheers

Refering to , I believe the keyer behaviour is iambic mode A.

Good point, I will put this on the 'wish list' for the next release.

Thanks Allard. ?I will have a peek at the keyer code when I get a chance. I think I can probably figure out from the code if it is A or B ...
certainly within about 10 seconds of using it I will know and I can report back.

Cheers?

Thanks Michael,
I have meanwhile added some extra functionality allowing the user to select "paddle" or "reverse paddle" from the SETTINGS menu, as you suggested.
To be released shortly as v1.22
