0-40MHz AD9850 DDS Signal Generator

Where do you get the pinout and spacing on the DDS board?
The cheaper one with single connectors.
I bought some but would like the pinout and pin spacing? Schematic?
I want to do a pcb layout so need info.

Thanks & 73s

A google search on AD9850 module will give you the schematic and pinout. The pins are 2.54mm (.1") spacing on 20 mm centers.

If you use Eagle cad there is a AD9850 module library available.

I google but found them for sale no schematics.? I use different search company?

I will look again.? I bought them over 2 hours ago, can't believe the problem.

I got them on eBay good price US shipper.? All copy each others auction and no data.

Thanks
Mike

Dozens of links, I can't find pin layout or schematic.? Every sells them no one seems to care about the data.

Anyway I found 5 on eBay shipped for $55, good price for US seller!

You can't buy the chip for that, these must be counterfeit AD9850?

Just pictures and code with projects. ? People all over the world making stuff with them.

I use Protel, so I will wait to start layout until the boards come.

Thanks

how about this?

I can not vouch for the accuracy I just found it searching.

Thanks, I found that EIM company but not as much as you got.

The only thing they leave off is relative spacing from mounting holes to the pins.

I will start with this info.? I can guess a little and adjust later.

I am going to compare the pictures on eBay too with these.

There is a google site which has nothing but lots of AD9xxx circuit images. It has an impossible
address, but you can find it through google. This is a very good source, but is all schematics.
Nonetheless, you can trace the circuit if you have the schematic.

This reipoom reference is for the version 1 board; check out the VK5TM sit for excellent
articles on how to design and build a generator based on this board. Copy the reipoom article
to your computer -- you don't know when you are going to need it (do this with everything. Hi).

Unfortunately, the later DDS boards used the version 2 AD9850. The layout is different, but the pinout
of the board is about the same. So is the software needed for the chip. There is (or was) a
description of the circuit on the web. Search for it. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find it.
I have it. I think you can find it. No, I don't remember where I got it...

I just checked the google site with all the schematics.
It has images of both (all!) AD9850/51 type circuits. One can easily
get the layout from there.

Just google "AD9850/51 schematics" and select the images link. Lots of them there.

Vince.

Sorry I'm a bit late to this.
The pin spacing on the type 1 modules is 0.8 inch (20.32mm) across the board and the pins (as already mentioned) are 0.1 inch (2.54mm) between pins

For reference, the type 2 is 1.4 inch (35.56mm) from the INSIDE row of the double row to the single row of pins.
All the pins are 0.1 inch spaced, with the double row 0.1 inch apart.

I have found that the key word to use in a search for information on a particular board or component is "datasheet"; for example "AD9850 datasheet". That usually produces a much larger set of useful results than "schematic" or "wiring diagram".
