Bitx 40 Digital VFO runs very fast

 

Dear OM,

My Bitx 40, Digital VFO connected today, but RUNS VERY FAST after a particular frequency......?
How can control smoothly?

Hi John,

that's normal behaviour.

The standard 1-turn tuning pot has only 50 kHz tuning range (7100-7150 kHz).

If you move the pot to either end, fast tuning will start at 10kHz steps, allowing you to tune beyond the original range.

With raduino_v1.09 you can install a 10-turn pot and extend the tuning range to 200kHz for full band coverage (7000-7200 kHz).
