Just wired up bx40, got ticks while tuning ?and a lot of static, no reception but 1 cw station deep in the noise.

Been trough the receiver using the video "trouble shooting" got "noise" where it should be.

I measured the total current and it is 150 mA is this oke, regarding the video it should be some where around 90 mA.

Switching the bitx off by the on/off vol pot gives a lot of noise just before switicng off.

Is there any one can tell me if 150 mA is ok??

According to it, your measured receive value looks OK to me.

Now i know thats's ok. Continue now with fault finding, cliks and just static noise.
