No output Bitx40 raduino

Bitx40 raduino, was low output, now no output.? Watt meter gives a quick spike to about .25W, then zero Watts.

Any help is appreciated.

No relay action with PA pwr unplugged.? Also display goes blank when PA pwr is unplugged.

We got it.

?

And with the regular PWR you do have RX? We still talk about PA-PWR or PWR?
According to the schematics PA-PWR you should indeed not have lcd/or anything working and no power at all on TX.

With regular PWR connected and PA PWR connected there is RX.

With regular PWR connected and PA PWR disconnect there is no RX

That¡¯s very odd¡.PWR should bring you RX and at least driver for the PA.

PA-PWR is only for the final amp¡and isolated (should be) from the rest of the board¡.

I found a problem with power connector to supply.? The 5.1 mm or whatever size it is.

I'll report back as I learn more.

Chuck

Tnx for the response.

OK, I repaired power socket.? Relays are functional.? I think the PA PWR had a good ground and the regular power and display didn't.? The board only had a good ground when PA PWR was connected.

Looks like Q13 isn't conducting.? I'll replace that next.

Thanks for your response.

Chuck,

The regular power connect black wire is not making contact with the pin or wire is cut.
Try a direct wire from PS to the ground point on the board!

Thanks Raj,

Rig relays are working. ?Both PWR and display had bad ground while PA PWR had good ground.

Chuck,

You ever get that thing working? ? I believe this is the last we heard from you.

Yes, IT'S ALIVE!? Seems to be working as it should.? I've been checking into Noon Time Net 7.2685.? Today I got S5 report.? I'm close to Tacoma, Wa; they are in Reno, Nevada.? Also doing some testing with other local Bitx40 owners.? Things are good.
