?Hi everyone I have assembled my first ever project. ?The radio power was up and I can hear audio but no display . I have it powered as in the instructions. Display is powered to the volume knob and the power socket. If I take the orange wire from the volume knob and connected to the power socket the screen lights up fine and it tunes up and down the band nicely ? But the display will not turn off with the volume knob of course. ?Any ideas please what I am doing wrong ??

?I had the same problem. But since u found that when orange wire ?got ?pluged to power switch .....is working fine, (tnx for that) u found the solution by yourself. ? ? u can use ?the 2 poles of volume switch.....

Put back the orange to the volume knob (as by the instructions) and solder a new wire ?(i used the spair part from ant wire) ?from the second pole of the volume switch to the power socket.......
