¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Missing C103 (the potentiometer? for the balanced modulator) from my recently received Bitx40. Is this normal? Mine is the unit without the Raduino. If it¡¯s an error would adding it myself be considered a novice task? Thanks.

C-103 is a capacitor, not a potentiometer, and is not needed for an un-modified BITX-40v3.?
You would only need this and related components if you want to fine-tune BFO offset for
LSB or want to change operation to USB or maybe some type of CW mode.

C103 & C102 are in parallel. ? I (and a friend) found it worthwhile to experiment with C102's value. ?Dropping it to 27pF produced punchier audio for us as there was a better representation of audio around 2kHz (which is important for intelligibility).?
