CEC< 1.122 For V5 CW BFO adjustment

All,
?Can someone tell me how to set the CW RX BFO on CEC1.122 ? My SSB BFO is set at 11055.5. But for so reason I am unable to set the CW RX BFO correctly. what I did was have my commercial radio on CW on one antenna and the Ubitx on another with both tuned in on W1AW. For some reason the closest I can to get the CW tone the same on both is have the Ubitx 600 hz higher? I was on 40 meters and the Ubitx was on CWL and my Ic7300 was on CW.

?Is there a ball park CW RX BFO setting to get me close?

? ?If Dr Ian Lee reads this thread.....On another note I am not sure if there is a bug in the new code but, I am unable to get the memory keyer to TX?

Thank you?

Assuming you are using the Memory Manager, you need to check the box for CW receive offset. Then you will transmit on the displayed frequency when in CW.

Vic,

?I was trying to do all of this with the Nextion screen and didn't even think of the Memory manager program. I will give that a try.

Thank you!

All,

?Choosing? to "Enable Adjust CW Frequency" got me closer (200 Hz) away now. Is that close enough or do I need to adjust the "CW Freq Adjust value" ? I tried adjusting the BFO and that didn't see to do much.

Thanks

The offset is controlled by the setting for CW tone up in the CW section. Any value put in to the CW Freq Adjust section adds to that, so you should leave that section as zero, then you will be transmitting on the display frequency. Otherwise you still will be offset somewhat. I am not sure what use the CW Freq. Adjust has...just make that zero.

Vic,

?I did verify that the frequency I TX on (via the reverse beacon network) is the same as the display. so I think I might be okay?

Thanks
