Correct for Nextion display width & fill 2.8" screen
Hi, all.
At the risk of seeming OCD, my current firmware and Nextion 2.8" display goes maybe 80% across the screen, I'm sure that I am seeing all of the firmware "screen" that I should see, but it doesn't fill the physical screen in doing so. Using KD8CEC version 1.1 firmware, UBITX_CEC_V1.100_NX_S.hex. It's OK and useable as it appears of course (the yellow arrow in attachment below, +/-) which is to say it shows everything the firmware ought to show on the screen.? It would be just that much more cool to use the full width that the screen's capable of (red arrow in attachment, +/-) and might also give my fat fingers a hair more room over which to stab at the control options! Thanks in advance for your insight. ? |
Well, two things - my screen is a 3.2" and not a 2.8" measure.? I've been using the correctly labeled .tft files for this at home; I just made a typo here in this forum is all. Now that you know I'm working with a 3.2, I believe this screen would look great if it were taller, henceforth, the width going all the way across as well? :) though I'm not sure I want to pay another $40 to make that happen just now. The second is that I tried Rich's 3.2 screen program and, for me at least, the clarity was severely lacking. Mine is a 3.2 Enhanced and I downloaded the enhanced .tft file but it just looks unsharp to me.? Sorry to have to report that (and I don't deny that it could be me). I deeply appreciate the lead nonetheless. So, any other pointers for a 3.2" screen user, using a 3.2" screen program that doesn't fill the 3.2" screen? Tnx, all. --Ted |
I fear , whether the hmi files there in may not fill in 3.2 and 3.5 displays, even though ewe can see the screens as reduced to 2.8 on a bigger screen. regards sarma vu3zmv On Fri, Dec 28, 2018 at 3:09 AM Evan Hand <elhandjr@...> wrote: Try this site: |
