K5BCQ kits in BITX40 #bitx40

Don your illustrations continue to amaze me.? They remind me of the Forrest Mims project books I used to save up to buy at Radio Shack.

I think the link in your post is wrong.? Without the extension on the page name your server gets cranky and directs to a 403 page.?

Thanks Doug! And thank you for notifying me of the bad link. I still haven't figured out what went wrong so I deleted the link. Must be something stupid simple (my downfall!).

I was wondering if my 2 AGC boards were sent yet?

Thanks

For those wondering if the K5BCQ AGC and ClickFix kits work with the BITX40, they do! The AGC works just as well as in the ¦ÌBITX and the ClickFix is, by far, the quietest modification that I have tried. The latter uses the PTT line for keying the receive preamp but that is all explained on the web site. No software changes are necessary unless you use the AGC board as an S meter source (which I recommend) and that is only to calibrate the display to accommodate the improved dynamic range. 73, Don

I know it might be demanding ;) but it would have been nice if the shipment date was mentioned.
Checked earlier this week and saw mine were send, bit so far nothing in the mailbox yet.
I know I live at the end of the world so close to the Mexican border. So things could take some time.

Anyone has a clue how long the shipment takes approximately?

I was a last minute order and was very surprised to receive mine this morning. Very nice professional looking kits. Did not take long at all in my case. Within a couple weeks! I paid by check.

I have informed delivery Doug, today a package from China is arriving and Monday a package from Colorado.
So maybe the package from Kees is coming from Colorado but saw his location is in TX.?

I update the list every 1-2 days. You can check the status of kits being ordered and shipped at the link below. Sometimes i make several trips to the Post Office if I happen to be going that way.

Kees mine show as shipped but so far haven't received anything yet.? That's why I was wondering how long the shipment takes. Doug referred to Informed Delivery bit that show only a package coming from Colorado this coming Monday. Saw that your location is in Texas so don't think that is coming from you.
I also thought you would ship them in a normal envelope .

I am sending the kits out with 1 AGC kit and 1 Click kit per regular #10 envelope with the $0.71 "Non Machinable" USPS stamp. If you ordered 2 of each, Im sending 2 envelopes, if you ordered 3 of each, I'm sending 3 envelopes, if you ordered more or it's a DX order, I'm sending it as a package.? As far as USPS turn around times .....I have no idea.
