Hi need help with the wiring of a bitx40 got to the part where you do the 8 pin on the raddduino board but then it said ti hook up the 5 pin connector?to the board don't bknow if I got the wrong? raduino board or something changed from the picture in the assembly? but I cant find the hook up fot the 5 pin connector my board has all pins on the bottom side

I believe that the same Raduino is being shipped for both the BitX40 and the uBitX now, but with different software loaded. Alas, the instructions show the older Raduino where different connectors were used from the full set of pins at a 90 degree angle that was designed with the uBitX. You can still connect with the 5 socket connector, just use the first five pin locations as shown on the pictures and ignore the other pins. They probably should correct the instructions as I suspect this is pretty confusing to new BitX4o purchasers.

Its a bit confusing but the 5 pin connector which has yellow, orange, red, brown, and black wires is plugged into the connector on the bottom of the Raduino. This connector has 16 pins and only 5 are used. If you view the Raduino with the LCD facing you then the pins used on the 16 pin connector are the first 5 on your left with yellow being the wire that connects to the furthest left most pin.?
