Sunils cases
Did you get any notification of the ship date or was it a surprise? I've got a couple cases that I've been patiently waiting for. Roy WA0YMH On Tue, May 1, 2018, 11:06 AM David Wilcox via Groups.Io <Djwilcox01=[email protected]> wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýA complete surprise. ?The nice thing is that it doesn't require a signature (senders choice). The driver mentioned that ?he is based 150 miles away (Grand Rapids, MI.). ?He said some vendors still check that box and a signature is needed and he has to drive all the way to northern michigan to try to deliver it again if that option is checked and no one is home. A DHL truck in northern Michigan is so rare there will probably be a mention about it on tonights news. ?Ha! Dave K8WPE On May 1, 2018, at 12:18 PM, Roy Appleton <twelveoclockhigh@...> wrote:

Sounds like here in northeastern NC -? The "official" population of my town is 117 people.? Counting those who live "in the county" but go to/through town on a daily basis there's maybe a thousand people in our community, so when the DHL or UPS truck is sighted, I inevitably get asked what I'm making.? Gotta love small towns? ;P |
Wallowa county is 75 miles across, well protected on all sides by the Blues to the west,

the Wallows to the south,?the Grande Ronde Canyon to the north, and Hell's Canyon on the east. Far from any interstate.? County population of around 7000.? Zero stop lights.? We're off grid, 50 miles north of the bustle created by the most of that 7000. Delivery services are spotty, not enough hours in a day for the driver to get here and back. On the plus side, any RFI is my own. Jerry, KE7ER On Tue, May 1, 2018 at 12:06 pm, Chuck, N1KGY wrote: Sounds like here in northeastern NC -? The "official" population of my town is 117 people.? |
