Amateur Radio Kit - Metal Cases - Traffic for those wondering..

Lawrence Macionski

Received an email this morning? from ? Sunil Kumar Lakhani at? http://amateurradiokits.in?
I added DHL shipping to the Semiens Gray uBITX case I ordered a while back.
I wanted to make sure he connected my DHL payment to the CASE payment. (Order #1554)
All is fine with my order and HE mentioned He? WILL BE shipping 50 cases by the weekend !!! (WOO! HOO!)

I know someone is going to ask- when did your order the case? . Let me check PAYPAL history -? MARCH 16th, 2018

So I hope this posting reduces email inquiries, so they can focus on shipping at hand.

This is as much fun as a Novice in 1965 with a homebrew? 6V6 transmitter and a BC-348Q surplus receiver.

Lawrence, thanks for the heads up and the flash from the past, I had a BC348 as one of my first radios. I got my novice licence (WN0YMH) around 1972 while in Salina Ks!

Yes I had a BC348Q on my nightstand as a teenager it sure pulled in a lot of stations ?with a short wire antenna. I spent a lot of late nights with the headphones on listening to the hams an SWLing too.?

Lawrence, thanks for the information. I also have a grey case on order. ?I placed mine on April 15th so I still have a long wait. ?I have received the radio and it is driving me nuts just sitting here. ?I want to wait for the case before I start putting together, so I can keep leads as short as possible. ?I also want to see where there is space in case for added items.

My solution was to get the 3d printed panels, use the leads full length and order a handful of the jacks since they melt when soldered twice. ?
My 'mess' was up and running in an hour!
