kd8cec if shift

I finally loaded up the kd8cec software early this morning to give it a
try. When checking into the KS WX net this morning there was another qso about 2kc below the net frequency. So I tried Ian's if shift function. Wow! It works well. Congratulations to Ian for a truly outstanding contribution to the usability of the ubitx in a crowded band! tim ab0wr |

The other thing I've found is it makes listening a lot more pleasant. I shift mine about +700 hz and it really cuts the background hiss and improves the audio, on SSB. You may just need to adjust the BFO. Out of the box mine was way off. Made everything sound tinny. If you use a program like spectrogram you can look at the audio output and see that it's shifted to? the right. Dennis I just released uBITX Firmware CEC Version 1.061, It also includes uBITX Manager 1.01. Starting with uBITX Manager 1.0, there is an option for setting IF Shift. Mike If an environment where have to continue using IF Shift,? I think it would be nice to adjust the BFO as you said.?Because IF-Shift is shift the BFO. And I used Audio Spectrum for the first time on my cell phone and I was very satisfied. Thanks Ian, I will do so. I was very impressed with your step by step instructions for programming the Raduino. I had never programmed an arduino before. While it took a misstep or two, I got it done in not that much time. Everything I needed to know was step by step correct. Way too many times, I have run into instruction sets, that miss something the writer deems "understood". Yesterday, I worked about 10 contacts on 40 and 80 meters on the WPX contest. Si5351 module -> Control logic consisting of software to control the si5351 In the project I'm doing, I've called the software component unit a module, and I wrote? it like a habit. To transmit WSPR, the clock must be controlled in 1.46Hz increments. Of course, there is a good Si5351 library to send WSPR. I have been able to study such great libraries and apply them to uBITX with a very small program Size. The Si5351 control routine in the uBITX original source was too good and I wanted to keep it. So I created another control logic for WSPR transmission and I think I mistakenly wrote this as Module. (Like a habit) A more detailed description of that part is given below. Vince Download links in Version 1.06 and Version 1.061 are identical. Just one more thing like updating version 1.06. The following link is an introduction to Version 1.06. Fix Link to download firmware in body. The source code is the same for Version 1.06 and Version 1.06. If you download version 1.06 again, it will be changed to 1.061.
