uBITX Wire Up Drawing error

The wire up drawing has an error regarding the volume control connections. It shows the orange wire as being Vol_high. And the yellow wire as being Vol_mid, going to the wiper.
The orange wire is in fact the Vol_mid, and should go to the wiper. And yellow to the hot end.
The pictures are correct.

It also shows that the CW key ("Digital Plug" Blue wire) is connected to the "Ring" of the key jack, not to the "Tip" as it really should be. ?I've tried to call this to Ashhar Farhan's attention since December, but the diagram(s) have remained unchanged.

Correct. I noticed that when I was wiring it up, but had forgotten this.

Philip, G7JUR?

Glad you mentioned this.? I am in the process of wiring my ubitx up and sure enough this and the volume controls were wired per the diagram and wrong.

I rewiring the lead on the resister broke off :( Now I must see if I have a replacement in the house.? Will a carbon resister work?? probably dont have one at that value.

May just have to order one and wait.? and I was so close to powering this radio up.

Things happen LOL

I dont have a 4.7k? but I do have a 5.1K? I wonder if that is close enough?? But it is a carbon resistor.

What do you folk think?? maybe shoudl be patient and order the exact replacement.

even the broken resistor could slowly be salvaged by using a thin wire instead of original wire.
?it would be possible
?However one side resistor woronal wire would hold it in position.
?
?finally even 5K1 should work i suppose.

Don't know how i missed this, but i did and have been operating with my Volume pot wired wrong according to the wiring diagram. I can't say as I have noticed any difference since changing it. My audio chip ran cool before and after and sounded great. Oh well, I will sleep better knowing it's right now.

OK I am looking at the Keyer.? On the Schematic it shows the Blue and green with 4.,7k resister connected to one pin and the yellow connected to the other pin.? inthe picture there is no yellow wire connected to any pin on the keyer.

What is the right connection.? How can the keyer work without the completed connection and circuit?

Someone help me be sure to get this right.

Thanks

Inline image
The yellow wire is connected to pin 4 on the Raduino. The keyer jack pin it's connected to is the sleeve. It's the pin closest to the front of the jack.??

Yes That is how I wired it up.? But on the picture in wiring instructions the yellow wire is not on the keyer.? That is where I connected the yellow wire.

Time to try powering it up.
