I'm confused, were people promised, or was it mentioned as a hope/plan, that new zBitx orders would start shipping four weeks after orders were placed?

I'm not sure what the point is for all the "me too" emails - George mentioned he was notified his order shipped (?/g/BITX20/message/117937?) is the expectation that HF Signals needs to ship every outstanding order at the same time? I think there's a fair amount of hands-on work required for each zBitx, which would seem to imply radios will ship as completed (if they arrived at HF Signals all at once, ready to ship in individual boxes, I could understand shipping them all at once, but that doesn't seem to be the case.)...

I guess all 7,600 of us fellow list members, spread around the world, will just sit back and enjoy the many 'mine didn't ship yet either' emails. Oh, and please do include your order number in your "me too" emails, not because it helps cut down on the list server traffic when others don't feel the need to ask your order number because you failed to mention it initially, but because like an obsessive baseball fan I'm painstakingly recording the order, shipment, and ultimate delivery of every zBitx - I mean, that is why everyone is periodically updating us on their radio orders, RIGHT?

Just having a cranky day, please take the above in the way it is offered, as humor.

Take care,

Ken, N2VIP

The website said four weeks, though it's recently been changed to five weeks. Perhaps they have had some delays getting parts, or accepted a few too many orders.

Folks,

We thank you all for your patience. We¡¯re doing our best to ship everything out as quickly as possible.
While we initially aimed for a four-week shipping timeframe, we now expect it to take about five weeks due to some unavoidable delays.
?
Please feel free to email us directly at sales at hfsignals dot com if you have any questions or concerns about your order.

I guess my order is still a ways off #4045.
It wound be nice to see a ticker on hfsignals like currently shipping #001234
This would go along way to give us hope.

Confused, are buyers really despairing because the item they ordered with a four week lead time has now become a five week wait?

HF Signals has a solid record earned over thousands of sales over the last several years, I think this will all work out soon...

? ? Thanks for the update.? I dont think anyone is in despair as someone mentioned.? I think we are more in anticipation as we get very close to getting the "shipped" email.? I still get excited by new radios and I am really looking forward to getting and playing with the zBitx.? I spend a lot of time doing portable activations and this is perfect for that.
?
? ? I had a radio I bought a couple years ago that had a 16 week lead time...I was all excited in anticipation by week 15.??
?
thanks for doing what you do.

There are so many things to improve in the firmware, at least I still resist asking for a unit! I'll wait until things become usable. It's not a complaint¡ªI admire the work of the developers. I know they are working hard and diligently!

It's completely valid to wait until a product is more refined and works as expected. Sometimes, giving developers time to fine-tune details and improve the experience can make a difference. I appreciate the effort of those who work on it¡ªtechnological development is never easy, and every update involves its share of sweat and dedication.

3859 here, earlier today I extrapolated from three shipped examples posted prior, and came up with a date towards the very end of May (forget the exact day and I'm on a phone). Patience :)

Not wanting to hijack the thread but this seems to be a good forum to ask. Has anybody so far recently had to deal with any of the tariff nonsense shipping to the United States???

Hello! My radio, from the April 1 order block, arrived yesterday. Order 3790. There was no issue or mention of tariff encumbrance or interference. It shipped on the 8th. Five days to its new home in Texas seems pretty good to me.

?

There were some on this forum that stated some of the messages concerning tariff delays could have been scams. Other instances turned out to be legitimate as shippers were bogged down by trying to deal with higher value cargo and the unknowns concerning tariffs. I realize this may not help. Not even sure why I chimed in. But I encourage you to go about your day. I'm sure that the day will have enough to deal with without possibly stressing over this matter.

Randy -- "de minimus" exclusions apply to most of the world, other than China, and so there really shouldn't be a problem from India.? ?
