We need reviews of sbitx
Seasons greetings and wish you all a merry christmas. In India, it is
already evening 11 pm and there is joy and happiness. There is carol singing in our neighbourhood. We will shortly walk to the church down the street to meet and greet the neighbours. This morning, I noticed that there is no entry for sbitx on eham.net. The correct category should be . I tried adding sbitx but without luck. I clicked on add product link and filled up the form but it didn't work. Does anyone know how to get it done? Those who are using the v3, can I request you to post videos of how you are using the radios on youtube? 73 and wish you a merry xmas!! - f |
Great ideas! I have been publishing information about it in the North Florida section newsletter.

There is a nice endorsement of the sBitx on the "Linux in the Ham Shack" podcast () - approximately 10 minutes into episode 527. Also, I believe product additions are curated, so they don't show up immediately. The sBitx is now on eham.net here: . If you don't have an account (they are free), please sign up, sign in, and post a review of the sBitx!! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a wonderful New Year to everyone. |
Farhan,
I found this link on eHam: ?It looks like it was put into the Non-QRP category (which it is at 25 watts). I found this when I tried filling out the same form as you. I will write a review and post it after Christmas.? Too many family parties until then. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 73 Evan AC9TU |
Will do. The v3 works great for me in my application and would love to help share the radio to the world. I currently only use FT8 and CW, but it works perfectly now for me. Thank you Farhan and Merry Christmas! David WK4DS On Sun, Dec 24, 2023 at 11:46?AM Ashhar Farhan <farhanbox@...> wrote: Seasons greetings and wish you all a merry christmas. In India, it is |
Wishing every body a Merry Christmas.? It's 1:00 PM Christmas Eve here in Winnipeg, and snowing.? Temperatures have been just around the freezing mark for the last several days, which is very mild for this time of the year.

An American ham is selling off all his ham equipment, as he has to give up ham radio for medical reasons.? I bought an sBit V2, with the V3 software installed.? It has an 8 GB Pi in it.? He also had some batteries, the charger, and an auto antenna tuner.? I took them.? I didn't intend to get an sBit at this time so I haven't been following things too closely.? I will likely have a few questions when I get the shipment - expect about January 5.? I can't get an antenna up at my apartment, so operation will all be portable - not in a Winnipeg winter. He also had a dual trace 150 Mhz. digital o'scope - I took that too?? That should be interesting - I haven't used a scope in about 45 years. There will be a day of reckoning when my credit card statement for January arrives - this has cost over $1000.00 Canadian, and the sales tax and brokerage when it crosses the border is in addition. I don't usually edit videos and I upload them as they are to youtube. When I do need to edit them, I use kdenlive. - f On Tue, Dec 26, 2023, 1:56 AM Aaron K5ATG <Aaron@...> wrote: Merry Christmas to everyone.? |
David,
Not sure which would be best, the 15769 one is titled 'HF Signals sBitx V3' and the 15768 one is tiled 'sBitx SDR', Personally I think I will leave mine on the HF Signals sBitx V3. I wonder how many more will show up before the dust settles. BTW, now the original review I saw has appeared again. Joel N6ALT ? |
