Need user interface nextion
开云体育Did I screw myself? I cannot find a user interface for my ubitxv6 the nextion display is NX8048T050_011R
I have the wiring done and it powers on, just need the right user interface. ?If I need to use a different firmware from KD8CEC let me know plz.

Hi Michael,
You need to upload Nextion firmware - which is done by SD card reader on the display itself. The display won't work with the stock firmware, and needs the raduino firmware to be updated to an aftermarket firmware. There are instructions for this available on the following website: Ian (KD8CEC) explains the installation process on the webpage. Beware, I have had a problem on my v6 ubitx - I cannot get any aftermarket firmware to work properly, although the stock firmware works perfectly. I would suggest getting a second arduino nano to install the new firmware onto, that way if it does not work after the update, you can just plug in the original nano and the original firmware to get your radio working again. |
开云体育James, I’m aware of this and appreciate the reply however the firmware/user interface file is exactly what I’m looking for. ?The ones on KD8CECs website aren’t compatible with the nextion I apparently got. ?The nextion I got is?NX8048T050_011R

Mark, AJ6CU, has compiled a list of screens and done conversions of the KD8CEC software for the Nano to other processors.? His work is here: You should be able to find what you need there.? If not, then the raw screen files are there as well.? You may need to use the LTS version of the Nextion editor to compile the hmi file.? The LTS editor is available on the Netion site: I do not have a 5" display, so I cannot verify any 5" screen files. 73 Evan AC9TU |

Try the attached tft file. Although I only use the "enhanced 5", this one should work on your "basic 5".
