Mine is drawing 0.18A at 13.8V when in RX and 1.2A at 13.8V when in TX. Remove the power from the PA amplifier and check the current again. You do not need to have the PA powered when in RX. -- Ion

BTW, I did check a few other things last night.? I switched mic elements and no improvement.? I checked power to board, and to the PA at the two pin connectors.(13.8V there).
