Re: PA Circuit Upgrade
do you need more then about 20Watt ??
because that is what a single IRF510 can deliver with a 24Volt PSU, and of course only 12 Volt for the rest of your Bitx40

Re: PA Circuit Upgrade
So as I investigate this some more it appears this may be easier than I had
thought. But I really don't know, I'm just a new Ham and trying to apply
some logic and I have no real electronics

PA Circuit Upgrade
More power??? ?I was looking at the schematic at the PA circuit and it appears that it was wired with a thought of dual IRF's in the future. ?What got me thinking was looking at the ubitx that has

Power Supplies
I am wondering what others are using for power supplies.
I have received signal reports of weak signal, and there was a comment that it might be a lack of power during transmission.
I am using a

Re: Simple audio muting circuit
Tried this tonight and it works!
Only small issue is that when the volume is on full there is an audio oscillation. Its right at the end of the pot though so not a problem because i never turn it up

Re: Bitx qso night
Nice going Craig. I had no success last night and heard an annoying strange signal just below us. It was also on web sdr, which I frequently use to hear band conditions and to try and hear my signal.

Re: Was Noob in need of some assistance. Now: [BITX20] Input antenna attenuation?
Yes I have used batteries to power it. 4 18650's 4.1v li-ion batteries. Then a nice 7812 regulator. Tried that 3 weeks ago.?
I didn't build an attenuator so I didn't force feed it a signal like I

Are you referring to the 2 diodes for strong signal rejection? So you
