Re: Struggling with tuning clicks and birdie sounds
Perhaps Philipp could use 100uH in the supply line to the raduino board and place iit close to raduino and add a 470uF and 100nF caps there after inductor towards raduino. It help to filter the noise

Re: uBITX - A reboot of the old BITX
It is OK Lawrence Galea for people on the habit of electronics assembly etc. For others, things might appear rather difficult. I saw some designs that specifically mention SDR with no inductors or LC

Re: Struggling with tuning clicks and birdie sounds
This can usually be fixed by adding some capacitors, rearrange wiring, etc. See earlier posts about tuning clicks and how to reduce/prevent them. 73 Allard PE1NWL

Re: Struggling with tuning clicks and birdie sounds

Re: uBITX - A reboot of the old BITX
Dennis smd components are easy to solder. Coils are also easy to wind. You just have to give it a try. Lawrence

Re: No TX?
Nagaraj, This is a SSB transmitter. SSB does not have a carrier. You need to say aaaaahhhhh, whistle, or use an audio generator to put some sound into the mic to create the carrier. Hope that helps,

Re: No TX?
My first thought is to double check that the black wire is soldered to the mics negative contact with the three traces to the shell. If correct, check the supplied hook up wires for continuity. Test
