Re: Nano Capability with 2.8" TFT Displays
I updated my blog with a link to my existing sketch utilizing the TFT display. As I am not interested in CW, I have left as much as possible with out any changes. When I get some other projects

Dave, We¡¯re almost there. What are you listening for? A null? A peak? When I tried this before it was not obvious what I was supposed to be listening for¡ Thanks again John Sent: Tuesday, May 1,

Re: Calibration - my approach #ubitx
In the "Set the BFO menu", you can directly modify the BFO frequency while listening to the audio output of the radio.? So, you have real-time feedback. You can not however tune the radio as it's in

Re: Calibration - my approach #ubitx
John should also have asked here is - what do you mean by "tweak BFO setting" - what does that mean and how is it accomplished in the 'Set the BFO' menu?

Re: Nano Capability with 2.8" TFT Displays
Yes, but I doubt that a touch screen is going to work with a Nano plus all of the other tasks it's responsible for in the ?BITX environment. The Protoneer might work because of its increased memory

Re: Nano Capability with 2.8" TFT Displays
I've experimented with both 5" and 7" displays, but not with a Nano. I've done 3.5" and 3.9" with a Mega 2560. None of those are with a touch screen. However, the two larger displays are are touch

I will certainly purchase a ready made PCB for this design.? I did ND6T's small PCB as he described, and wasn't happy with the result.? My work not his.? I did purchase a small lot of 2N7002 SMDs;

Re: VK2AUJ's ?BITX project
That math may look silly. We found that the silicon was just a couple degrees C hotter than the tab. But the math becomes important on something like the IRF510. Many Bitx40's are getting around 20
