Jack, Have you considered directly provisioning for this by making an "empty" extensions header/code file, perhaps named MyExtensions.h & MyExtensions.cpp, and including these files in the framework.

I had some M3 Nylon Standoffs and drilled a hole through it so It just slid over the shaft.? I put a drop of super glue in from the end and rounded the corners with a dremel a little. -- Lee -
