Chip Do you have, or can you construct a simple diode RF detector to use with your DC voltmeter? This could be useful for tracing RF through the transmit section. http://www.qsl.net/g3pto/probe.html

If you are using the supplied BNC connector, test to make sure you are getting good contact between the center pin of the connector and the coax. A few people had issues with that. Just a suggestion.
