Re: Harmonic performance - SSB vs CW
Looking closer at what you folks (Warren the first to report...) have discovered E.g.: ¡°In my testing I also found the isolation across one relay was barely 45db in one configuration and 50 in

Re: UBITX repair
Me foolish .? The facts the STD TDA 7622 can take 13.8 / 14 V .. above 15V there is a problem.? This guy hopefully started up his PCB on near 12V. The TDA blew.? it was likely as shtty Chino knock

Re: Raduino Clone kit from W0EB-N5IB #ubitx
Jim, did you fit parts to run the Si5351 from 3v3 and not 5v of the original Raduino? I have made a similar board to your Clone also, with these parts fitted although same size as original. The Si5351

Re: BITX40 output power at 36 volts to the IRF510 #bitx40 #bitx40help
A serious answer is that at 36V the IRF510 has no SWR latitude the slightest bump or bad SWR and they disappear.? Stay? in the 24-28V is far more reliable assuming its RF stable and doesn't

PN? is 2n3866 1.5 W RF NPN silicon but based on recent reply it seems the smaller metal cased part was used as the pre driver on many boards.

Tim, no on the Diz amp. First mine is linear (class AB1 150ma per irf510), the base amp was class C.? About all I did?use was a few passives and the board itself. Used a differnt wind for all the

Allison the bad guys from the FCC could be reading this (they look like Jake and Elwood in the Blues B ) but they drive around in vans not ex Mt Prospect police cars.. they could shut down the imports

Thanks for that.. that means my rework idea will work .. probably .. at 7mhz it is all smoke and mirrors ... I looked at the photos and even went to an online video and I would swear what I am seeing

What your response implies is that you did no research before adding in your two cents. Why not search the archives and educate yourself on this matter prior to making yourself look foolish. Vince -

Re: UBITX repair
Michael, I will check my work again but I was concerned that if the adjacent capacitors were damaged, that might cause what I observed. Thanks for the reply. I look forward to getting this radio

Re: Harmonic performance - SSB vs CW
I've been hinting at this for a while but unwilling to say it as i'd had too small a sample. With a sample size of over 4: Over 20mhz fail for SSB spurs,? CW ok Below 20mhz if not over driven SSB ok,

Yes they would work.?I would put them before RV1.? But you need 1 per band that is a lot of switching. If done before Q90 diode switching should be doable (less RF to cope with). No mater where its
