I had exactly the same issue on a raduino signal generator project...using a cheap encoder with detents.

Re: Raduino Pill
Made some progress on this. The board is now alive. The LCD and encoder sections are functioning. Testing the Si5351 is next, then see if I can convert uBitX20 firmware to run on it. www.w3jdr.com (

Re: 4000 mile phone qso on 20m
These days what changes is the number of qsos you can do with a qrp and an ordinary 100watts trx. With a better propagation this 'spread' would be much reduced.

Re: Right-sided relay harmonic attempted fix for v3/4 ubitx
I'm expecting to be able to make real baseline measurements tonight.? ?My receiver (Icom 718) cannot really go past 30 Mhz so I'm restricted to measuring harmonics' strengths below that

Raduino "Clone" kit available from TSW
#bitx40
#radiuno
#ubitx
Since several asked if the Raduino "Clone" board kit available through the "Triumvirate Skonk Worx" (www.w0eb.com) would work with the BITX40, I did a little research and the answer is YES it will.?

Tom, A L network L first is a low pass.? However most are run at such low loaded Q they are not very useful for harmonic control.? Typical Q is under 10 and 2 is not uncommon. Allison
