Re: uBitx Unfiltered
If that is your objective Kees I can confirm that the existing filters are completely adequate for harmonic suppression. They, however, do nothing to suppress the ¡°45MHz - Carrier¡± spurs on 20

A: Thank you very much.? This is the best drawing i have yet to see of the uibitx20.? I have Sunils front panel board already for connectors.? Obviously something is wrong. Let me know. Bill

Re: uBitx Unfiltered
Also, as mentioned earlier, I don't think combining 10m and 12m filtering with anything else like 15m is a good idea. A 10m/12m BPF is OK, a 17m/15m BPF is OK, a 30m/20m LPF is OK, etc.? However, I

Re: uBitx Unfiltered
Anyone tried to reduce the drive at Q20 and Q40 ? to keep from overdriving the poor ol' 12MHz and 45MHz filters in Tx mode. I think Allison suggested replacing R43 and maybe R23 with a 1N4007 diode

Re: Keyer
I tried the suggestion someone mentioned (changing 10K for 8.2K) with same result (no change). Then I found this diagram, as you can see, the Key? and Paddle have separate plugs and wiring, I will

All Please understand that LPF will only be effective to bring CW into compliance. SSB compliance will require BPF for 17 through 10 meters.? Then you have IMD to deal with ......... ? WA8TOD

Re: Keyer
Did you find a cure??? I have tried most everything including resistor values, a new front panel board by Sunil, connectivity, etc.? No progress. Like you, the Di side works but that's all. Help??

Right. And this from the hobby group that routinely builds test gear that is essentially a ball of electrical tape¡ Jack is a professional and acts that way. I just barely produce code that works¡

On the Site it says ' The Low Pass Filter kit can handle at least 10W safely' so it will.

Ask Hans, if not ask the right capacitors that handle that power.

I extremely disagree! As a hobbyist we have NO schedules and NO budget constraints! There is no reason not to produce clean code. It's called being LAZY. There are a lot of people that look at our

MRM, Depends on how the testing turns out ;o) Haven't decided yet. Anyone can order boards with the Gerbers and share with friends using the "$2 for 10 boards + postage" deals several board vendors
