Thanks Curt. Okay that¡¯s the filter I was going to get as well. I also saw the blog where the blog suggested to increase bias voltage. I am also waiting for a similar sized heatsink too, next will

Re: Look at this on eBay, ubitx, budget test equipment.
I took a look at it.? Simple, straight-forward, and most of the features I consider critical - you can do a lot with that.? If the battery test puts a small load on the battery while testing, that's

Re: treble only SSB modulation
Laurent my best guess is the BFO calibration is off - shifting you passband to the high side.? possibly you might hear similar distortion on receive? try the instructions here, as required Micro-BITX

Re: Flrig and uBitX not connecting
Sorry, I'll take it back. I just read that you wrote WSJTSX worked and checked the source code 38400 is correct after all. What version of flrig do you use? I mean when was it released? I think I

Re: Flrig and uBitX not connecting
Hi Vic, I think you are using the wrong baud rate. Try changing to 19200 Baud - that should do the trick. The correct speed is hardwired within? KD8CECs firmware. You can change it of course, but

Looking at two pictures, it looks to be a NANO with a TFT, maybe touch screen? Interesting, being as I just received two NANOs, though planned to use one to make a clone of a raduino. Maybe both, in

Thanks so much for the quick replies! And thanks for the home-brew links. I'll read through those in the next couple of days. Ugly construction would be just as fun, so I'll probably go that route. I

Mitch I think that this <https://www.qrpkits.com/bitx20a.html> is the last thru-hole kit of a BITX transceiver. It should be possible to add the Arduino, Si5351a, and LCD to one of these. In earlier

Really, the large size (1206) SMD parts are not that bad to use even for a pair of 76 year old eyes, plus resistors and caps are really much less expensive than through-hole. You could also shrink the
