No. All the software you need is that provided by HF Signals. This may be different if you are using some other software than that provided by HF Signals. Some systems do provide separate EEProm data

Most any audio amp that is capable of driving headphones or a speaker can be used to trace audio through the uBITX circuitry.? Use a 0.1 mfd capacitor as a probe to isolate the amplifier from DC.?

Hi Gerard, You don't mention whether this is new behavior or whether it had existed since you completed your build.? I've had a similar problem after an upgrade, and it turned out to be a cold solder
